What is OT Connect Thursdays?
A new way to access OT guidance while on the waitlist:
We know that waiting for ongoing Occupational Therapy services can be frustrating — especially when you have questions or need advice right now. That’s why we created OT Connect Thursdays, a dedicated weekly Telehealth available timeslot where parents and caregivers can “pop in” to chat directly with one of our qualified Occupational Therapists.
These sessions are designed to give families timely, practical support and resources while waiting for ongoing therapy. Whether you need help with routines, play ideas, sensory regulation, fine-motor activities, or self-care skills — our OTs are here to guide you.
How It Works
When: Every Thursday (morning and afternoon appointments available)
Where: Online via secure Telehealth video link
Who: Parents and caregivers of children currently on our OT waitlist or seeking short term support.
Session Length: 30-minute or 1-hour sessions
Cost: Standard OT consult rates apply ($193.99 per hour).
Ongoing support: There is no ongoing commitment required, you can book a once off appointment, take away the ideas and suggestions that our OT gives you and only book back in if you require follow up support. You may also use your session to discuss and specifically request resources, materials or at-home kits that our therapist could put together specifically for you which would be charged separately to your session (pricing would be discussed in session)
