Our Messy Play sessions are suitable for children from 6 month - 6 years.
We have a range of sensory experiences set up for the children to explore as they like. Many of the activities will be based on the floor to allow access for all ages, with any activities aimed at older children being raised off the floor.
All messy ingredients are taste safe.
Messy play is child-led exploration of their world. Our sessions aim to provide sensory-rich experiences for babies and children so they can explore, learn and develop new skills.
Our messy play sessions might involve water, slime, paint, natural materials, coloured food items and more in order to provide a smorgasbord of taste, touch, smell and sight sensations for the kids to immerse themselves in.
As children are often very enthusiastic about these kinds of experiences, a change of clothing is highly recommended for after the session.
No, our messy play sessions are pay-as-you-go meaning that you are able to sign up for as many as you would like, but there is no obligation to come every week.
Yes, if you are booking for siblings, groups (or just booking all of the weeks that you want to attend in advance) please add multiple tickets to your basket and use the discount code: MULTI10 for 10% off. This code will only work with 2 or more tickets in the basket.
(NOTE: due to the way the system works you will need to go back to the calendar each time to add your ticket multiples even if booking multiple tickets for the same week).
Naomi is the Director of Grow With Me OT and an Occupational Therapist with 9 years of experience. She will be running the messy play and is happy to chat through any development, sensory or OT related concerns you may have throughout the session if you are curious about whether your child may benefit from OT.
We greatly appreciate people booking in as early as possible so that we can plan and prepare accordingly.
Sessions may book out so we cannot guarantee access for walk-ins, though if there is space, we would welcome last minute arrivals and on-site card payment is available.
We understand that life with little kids can be unpredictable.
- 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations if a refund is to be provided.
- Sessions cancelled within 24 hours will be offered a make-up class to be used within the term.
- No shows (without notice) forfeit their fee unless extenuating circumstance exist.
